"We had our Wedding at Shaw Hill Golf Club and it was the most amazing day. From day one, Hannah, the wedding coordinator could not do enough for us.Everything that we asked for was done, dietary requirements catered for. Food was fantastic from canapes to dessert. Alec was an absolute star all day, can not thank him enough.Can't recommend this venue highly enough. If you want your big day to be stress free and perfect, give them a call. The venue looked incredible so please thank all your staff for this especially Lauren? I think that was her name as she helped organise the day and dress the room. Also there was a lady with brown hair. I didn't catch her name. She said she had worked there since August but she went above and beyond yesterday helping us with everything and really was lovely. The food was also incredible and again we have had so many messages today commenting on this."

Nina was always fast at getting back to us on anything we needed with the lead up and planning of our wedding and she was always happy to help. All staff at Shaw Hill where all friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Rooms lovely, clean! Reception staff all helpful and friendly. Lots of our guests throughout the day commented to us that it was such a lovely venue and where all having a brilliant time. Felt very relaxed and had no worries throughout any of the planning with Shaw Hill from start to finish. Thank you so much for making our day so perfect!"

"Shaw Hill is now our new family wedding venue! From start to finish, Nina, our wedding planner was so kind and helpful especially during Covid and trying to sort things out last minute. She was very accommodating to our religious and cultural needs which made our experience even more perfect! The venue is so idyllic and is a great space for family and photographers. I would do it all over again with no regret or changes! The catering staff, kitchen facilities, accommodation rooms and everything else ran so smoothly I had no stresses as the bride and I am extremely grateful for everyone involved for making the process so easy. I would highly recommend Shaw Hill as your wedding venue :)"

"Our daughter and her husband had their wedding reception here on Friday. To say it went perfectly is an understatement! There are not enough words to describe how fantastic it was. Nina was just incredible to have as a wedding planner and from start to finish nothing was too much trouble. We had everything we wanted and more beside. Lauren and Tony were on hand afternoon and evening to help with anything we needed. The food was served quickly and seamlessly with nobody waiting whilst others ate. There were many comments about how impressed guests were by the standard of food and service. In the evening Guy, the resident DJ was lovely, very accommodating and created a fantastic family party atmosphere.The setting is just glorious and with the lovely weather we were blessed it was stunningly beautiful. Very happy with how all our wedding stuff was tidied away by staff and stored away ready for us to collect the following morning and even then we were not rushed out. We all enjoyed a family breakfast together after a very comfortable night and waved the bride and groom off on their honeymoon in a relaxed manner even though the staff were now extremely busy preparing for another bigger wedding that day.We truly grateful to them all for making the wedding day as amazing as it possibly could be. Thank you so much to everyone involved."

"We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at Shaw Hill on the 22nd July 2021. I appreciate that everyone says their wedding was magical but ours truly was . The reason for that was down to the friendliness , professionalism and expertise of the whole staff team and of course Nina . All of our guests where taken care of throughout the whole day and were amazed at the level of care and attention shown , numerous comments like - ‘’ this is the best wedding we have ever been to’’- all completely genuine , the venue was dressed to perfection, the backdrop utterly beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff available to us on the day went out of their way, nothing was too much trouble. Given this was 2 days after ‘freedom day’ post covid snd the hottest day of the year , it could have gone very wrong . It didn’t !!! I have to be honest , we have been to many many weddings where you try and overlook the things that could have gone a little better. This is not the case when you have your wedding at Shawhill . It really is first class every step of the way and very reasonably priced . I really cannot thank the staff team at Shaw Hill enough and will recommend to everyone I know."
